I was in need of help, and found this Novena to the Holy Spirit. I devotedly prayed it, and my prayers were answered.
Holy Spirit, you who makes me see every-thing and who shows me the way to reach my ideals, you who gives me the Divine gift to forgive and forget all that is done to me, and you who are in all the instincts of my life with me, I in this short dialogue, want to thank you for everything and affirm once more that I never want to be separated from you, no matter how great the material desires may be. I want to be with you and my loved ones in their perpetual glory. To that end and submitting to God's holy will, I ask from you..... etc. (your request).
Pray it for 3 days, and promise to publish or circulate copies.

Finding my Pumpkin Bread Recipe
I had the most delicious recipe for pumpkin bread. Everyone who tried it raved about it. Then I suddenly couldn't find my recipe, in spite of the fact that I had it written it in various notebooks. Poof. It was gone. I tried to make it from memory once, an awful mistake. It tasted like baking powder bread.
We were decluttering the messiest kitchen drawer (thank you FlyLady) and low and behold, after 4 or 5 years I found not one, but 2 copies of my treasured Pumpkin Bread. Here it is, for all eternity.

3 cups of flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups oil
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Pumpkin
2 cups raisins
Mix and sift together the dry ingredients and put aside. Mix the eggs, oil and sugar, beat it Pumpkin, and slowly mix in the dry ingredients. Stir in raisins. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour 3 medium or 2 large loaf pans, pour in batter and bake for 45 minutes for 3 loaves, 1 hour for 2 loaves, but check with toothpick, and continue to bake till it comes out clean.
Enjoy it with cream cheese, and hopefully now, people will forget that awful mess I made from memory, lo those many years ago.

Day 2
I have finally found a template I like, I think it fits me. The snow here is getting me down, but I am trying to continue in the FlyLady Olympics, and declutter at least 15 minutes each day. My bedroom closet needs so much more work. I feel I will be in it forever.

Day 1
Please bear with me, while I try to get the look of this thing fixed. :) Ok, it's starting to feel like home. I'm used to my webpage, and this is so instantaneous.
